received his B.S. in Ministry and M.Div. from Abilene Christian University. He also holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Arlington. His current research critiques Gnostic philosophical influences on the audit culture of accountability mandates and high-stakes testing prevalent in current K-12 educational policy. By focusing on the relational aspects of teaching and learning, his research helps school leaders promote alternative understandings and practices of pedagogy within the standards-based learning environment. Mr. King is currently the Editorial Assistant for the International Journal of Leadership in Education.
