Iliana Melendez

Iliana Melendez received her a B.A. in Psychology from St. Edward’s University, where she discovered a passion for service and social justice, which she has pursued with AmeriCorps and Texas Campus Compact Vista at the University of Texas at Austin. Iliana left the University of Texas at Austin to attend graduate school at Texas State University where she received her M.Ed. in Counseling & Guidance with a specialization in Student Affairs. She currently serves as a Student Conduct Officer with the Dean of Students at Texas State, where she also works with LAMBDA of Texas State, Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., and assists the AdvoCATS Programming Board with Ally curriculum development and educational programming. Mrs. Melendez is a second year doctoral student in the Adult Professional and Community Education Program at Texas State University.
